We are currently seeking skilled and passionate Registered Veterinary Technicians to join our Small Animal Division in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) & Emergency Departments. As an essential member of our team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality patient care with the support of advanced diagnostics and technologies, and receive collaborative support from your fellow RVTs, Board-Certified Surgeons and Critical Care Specialists led teams, Neurologists, and other veterinary professionals in a stimulating environment where you can enhance your skills across multiple modalities.

- Liaison between ER, ICU, surgery, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology and other services where indicated. The coordinator will communicate with clinical team to establish a plan for the day including all procedures requiring anesthesia, the use of ORs and diagnostic imaging.
- The coordinator will assign team members (RVTs & ACAs) to cases according to experience/skill/schedule in order to provide best care to patients.
- The coordinator will identify workflow issues & assess situations as they arise and help find solutions that best fit the department
- Monitor department staff, encourage productivity, and a positive work environment, positive role model with an optimistic can-do attitude
- Can direct & support the clinical team in areas of patient care, efficient use of time, best medicine, sop’s, etc

**Experience**:

- Veterinary technician: 3 years (ideal)
