Job Summary:
The Sales Agronomist is a key role within Federated Co-operatives Limited, responsible for developing profitable relationships with local producers. This position requires expertise in crop inputs, fertilizer, and farm equipment, as well as excellent customer relations skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads and create sales through customer contact
- Understand local producer needs and offer company products and services to optimize agricultural output
- Promote high-level customer satisfaction and develop relationships through trust, service, and integrity
- Manage and track inventory and bookings, complete claims and invoices
- Provide on-site farm support and delivery of Co-op products
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in agriculture with eligibility for registration with SIA
- Background in agriculture with experience in a sales-based role
- Experience leading customer contact with a proven record in relationship development
- Ability to travel to various Ag locations throughout Prairie North
