Job Summary:

The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and coordinating the selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent
  • Collect and screen applicants, and advise them on employment requirements and terms and conditions
  • Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
  • Notify applicants of results and prepare job offers
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, and negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week
  • English as the primary language of work
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with human resources software and database management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
