About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at KAR Foods Ltd. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Portion and wrap foods accurately and efficiently.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
    • Handle and store cleaning products safely and effectively.
  • Inventory and Stock Management
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients and supplies.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs as needed.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
    • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • Will train.
  • Language
    • English.
  • Work Hours
    • 40 hours per week.
