We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Care team at the University Hospital of Northern BC. As a Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a variety of clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver client-centered care and ensure seamless transitions between care settings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare providers to promote effective communication and care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
- Successful completion of a recognized Basic Cardiac Course (which includes telemetry) within the last six (6) months, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within one (1) year.
