Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team at Dixie Auto Repair Inc. As an Automotive Glass Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windshields and other glass components on vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and replace windshields and other glass components on vehicles
  • Clean and maintain work space
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces
  • Repair or replace interior components
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding
  • Attention to detail
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Overtime required
  • Standing for extended periods
Work Environment

Our work site environment is dusty, noisy, and may have odors. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and work in a fast-paced environment.
