Job Title: Automotive Glass Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team at Dixie Auto Repair Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and replacing automotive glass, including windshields, windows, and sunroofs. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and replace automotive glass, including windshields, windows, and sunroofs
  • Clean and maintain work space
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces
  • Repair or replace interior components
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs
  • Transport glass components to and from the work site
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. The successful candidate will be required to work in a dusty and noisy environment, with exposure to odours.
