Adecco Canada is Hiring a Licensed Truck and Transport Technician

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Truck and Transport Technician to join our client's team in Mississauga, ON. As a key member of the service team, you will work closely with the Service Coordinator, Tractor Mechanics, and Trailer Mechanics to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on the client's fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and prescribe corrective actions for tractor maintenance issues identified during inspections.
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance efficiently and effectively.
  • Enter work orders and maintain accurate records of repairs.
  • Maintain shop cleanliness and participate in team meetings.
  • Perform miscellaneous repairs on equipment as needed.
Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in fleet preventative maintenance.
  • Licensed Heavy-Duty Mechanic (310T).
  • Strong diagnostic and time-management skills.
  • Experience with computer systems for entering work orders.
  • Previous safety inspection experience is an asset.
  • Ability to obtain CVIP is mandatory.
