Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Frontenac Convenience Store.
Job SummaryThe Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training staff, ordering merchandise, and preparing reports on sales volumes and personnel matters.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including apprentices, sales workers, and design team members.
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training.
- Order merchandise and authorize returns.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Organize and maintain inventory, and supervise cash handling.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a retail service establishment, with a permanent work term and a 30-40 hour workweek.
