About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at AMPOWER ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Payroll Processing: Prepare and process payroll, including calculating and preparing cheques.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including balance sheets and income statements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently under pressure.
