Ishtar Women's Resource Society is a leading organization in the non-profit sector, dedicated to supporting women and children affected by abuse. We offer a range of programs, including Transition Houses, Outreach, Community-Based Victim Services, and more.
Job Summary
We are seeking an Executive Director to lead our organization and implement our strategic priorities. The ideal candidate will have senior leadership experience, a strong understanding of issues impacting women and children, and a passion for building a safer community.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the strategic plan as set by the Board of Directors
- Lead and manage the organization's operations and administration
- Develop and implement policies and programs for Board approval
- Manage the organization's finances and ensure financial health
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including funders, donors, and community organizations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Five years of management and leadership experience
- Sound working knowledge and understanding of issues impacting women experiencing violence
- Demonstrated experience in successful implementation of strategic priorities, effective fundraising, and sound fiscal management
What We Offer
- Competitive salary range: $120,000-$130,000
