About the Role

The Kamloops South Shore Child and Youth Mental Health Team is a dynamic and dedicated group of professionals who deliver comprehensive mental health services to children and youth from birth to 19 years old.

This team is comprised of clinicians who specialize in early childhood mental health, integrated practice services, and early psychosis services, working collaboratively within the Ministry of Children and Family Development and with community partners, including Indigenous organizations.

The Team Leader will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting the team to deliver top-quality mental health services to local area children and youth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of clinicians to deliver mental health services to children and youth
  • Collaborate with community partners to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve mental health outcomes for children and youth
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality services
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in leading and managing a team of professionals
  • Strong knowledge of mental health services and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with community partners
