Job Title: Robotics Technician

We are seeking a skilled Robotics Technician to join our team at North American College of Information Technology.

Job Summary:

This permanent, 30 hour per week position involves assisting in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects, preparing design, drawings, and specifications, and supervising maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare design, drawings, and specifications for mechanical systems, including CAD work and estimation of costs and materials.
  • Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants, including the supervision of 3-4 people.
  • Assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures, as well as carry out mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials.
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software, SolidWorks, and CNC machines to design and test mechanical systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Word.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
