Job Title: Robotics Technician - Mechanical Systems Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Robotics Technician - Mechanical Systems Specialist to join our team at North American College of Information Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects, preparing design drawings and specifications, and carrying out mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects
  • Prepare design drawings and specifications
  • Carry out mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Design tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants
  • Supervise, monitor, and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects
  • Test machines and equipment

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and physically demanding environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
