About the Role:

This is a permanent position with 35-40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate must have excellent leadership skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and portioning of food, as well as the supervision of staff who perform these tasks.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports and budget estimates.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year or less of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
