Responsibilities
  • Design and oversee the implementation of building envelope remediation projects, ensuring adherence to design and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections and reviews for new construction and rehabilitation projects.
  • Compile comprehensive technical engineering reports through visual and destructive investigations.
  • Perform various assessments, including building envelope assessments, roof condition assessments, reserve fund studies, and performance testing.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technologists.
Requirements
  • Candidate must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • A 3-year (Advanced) diploma in Architectural Technology is required.
  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience with a focus on on-site inspections and technical reporting is necessary.
  • The Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) designation is preferred.
  • Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) is required.
About the Opportunity
