About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Red Swan Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we are always stocked and ready to meet customer demand.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen operations, including maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are met.

  • Cultural Competency Training: Complete cultural competency training and/or awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Language Support: Does not require Canadian work experience, and we welcome applications from individuals who are fluent in English.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Cultural Competency Training: Complete cultural competency training and/or awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Work Environment
  • Work Term: Permanent position with 35 hours per week.
