Job Summary

Pioneer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate records.
  • Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all products are properly stocked and displayed.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Work Environment

Pioneer is a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and perform tasks that require physical activity.
