We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our Diagnostic Services meet or exceed all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) for all Diagnostic Service areas.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement quality management plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a quality assurance capacity.
- Previous work experience within a GMP environment.
- Previous experience as a quality auditor/inspector.
- Project management skills.
- Knowledge of accreditation, regulations, and quality requirements.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry or biological sciences.
- Graduate from an accredited program with a focus on Diagnostic Services.
- Certificate in Quality Management preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
