Job Title: Disaster Restoration Technician

We are seeking a skilled Disaster Restoration Technician to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore of Guelph. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for restoring properties to their pre-loss condition after disasters such as fires, floods, and storms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and structures to facilitate restoration work.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or disposal.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to facilitate restoration work.
Requirements:
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
