Job Overview

At The Institute for Performance and Learning, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Process Excellence Leader to drive process improvement initiatives and ensure operational efficiency across our organization. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our processes, ensuring quality, and delivering exceptional results.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading product standardization, process improvement workshops, and strategy implementation across multiple business regions. This includes developing and maintaining policies and procedures for fleet, facilities, and service management, while ensuring adherence to our safety and operational standards. Additionally, you will conduct process audits, monitor operational performance, and provide analytics and reporting on key operational metrics.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Lead and facilitate product standardization and process improvement workshops to optimize product innovation, facilities, and service management
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for fleet, facilities, and service management, ensuring adherence to our safety and operational standards
- Conduct process audits, monitor operational performance, and provide analytics and reporting on key operational metrics
- Ensure proactive engagement and representation from Space Rentals (SR) and Workforce Housing (WH) teams during product development to meet quality, service, and cost objectives
- Provide performance insights to executive management to inform business strategies and ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing processes

Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in business, Safety Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience in equipment rentals, manufacturing, or construction is essential, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience with process improvement and/or best practice implementation is required. You must also possess excellent analytical and negotiation skills, as well as a solid understanding of State and Federal safety, environmental regulations, and extensive knowledge of safety policies. Leadership for Safety Excellence (LSE) certification is required or to be completed within 6 months. Experience with Lean Methodology (e.g., 5S, Kanban, Six Sigma, Scrum) is an asset.
