Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Marriott International. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Set tables according to type of event and service standards.
  • Answer questions on menu selections and communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability.
  • Record transactions in the MICROS system and process payments.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day.
  • Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Related work experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and presentation.
