About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Niagara Children's Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with children, youth, families, and other healthcare professionals to assess, identify, and treat communication difficulties.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess a post-secondary degree in Speech Language Pathology and registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario. You will have a sound understanding of speech language therapy among children and youth, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to identify communication difficulties in children and youth
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance quality of life and participation
  • Work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to provide support and education
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Registration with CASLPO
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certifications
  • Bilingualism considered an asset
What We Offer
