We are seeking a highly skilled Project Planning professional to join our team at Teck Resources Limited.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion. This will involve conducting field investigations, analyzing performance data, and developing long-term maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct field investigations to determine project requirements and develop plans to ensure timely completion.
- Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for cost savings.
- Develop and implement long-term maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Work closely with operations supervisors and coordinators to ensure seamless project execution.
- Support the development and mentorship of NANA shareholders through apprenticeship programs.
- Provide input into budget preparation and cost control measures.
- Contribute to the wellbeing of employees by participating in site safety and hygiene programs.
- Industrial Journeyperson Millwright certification.
- At least 10 years of heavy industrial maintenance and project management experience.
- At least 3 years of maintenance planning experience in an industrial setting.
- Intermediate skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
