Project Manager

As a Project Engineer at Project Redirect Inc Of The District, you will be responsible for managing packaging development activities for new model projects. Your key objectives will include:
Key Responsibilities- Establishing ideal pack designs that maintain part quality
- Achieving supply chain operating cost targets through best pack design implementation
- Coordinating stakeholders' requirements and conducting meetings throughout the development flow to achieve project goals
- Effectively communicating project activities and verifying fabricator deliverables and schedules
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and summarizing required change points and concerns with justification
- Evaluating, testing, and implementing packaging designs and change points to validate packaging maintains part quality specs
- Designing, procuring, verifying, and conducting trials for effectiveness while identifying critical impact or risks
- Recognizing potential impact and past problem history that impacts stakeholders
- Managing timing related to change points and understanding department requirements and purpose of each build event
- Ensuring each packaging maturation stage is documented using standard development forms
- Maintaining file structure, naming convention, and revisions
- Ensuring customers' needs are met and customers have zero impact due to missed project targets
- Project management skills
- Ability to identify new model changes
- Understanding of design change flow
- Knowledge of past problem history related to supply base
- Knowledge of process, equipment, business, and human constraints
- Understanding of daily department activity and business plan
- CRF reporting and tracking
- Understanding of project SAP milestones and targets
- Ability to conduct meetings during new model development
- Ability to understand, collaborate, and gain buy-in with key stakeholders
