**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. As a Graduate Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing coverage to all areas of the hospital, including the Pulmonary Function Laboratory.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide respiratory care to patients in various settings, including the Pulmonary Function Laboratory
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and analyze results to diagnose respiratory disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

**Requirements:**

  • Registered with the College of Respiratory Therapists in the Graduate Class
  • Practice according to the standards and guidelines set out by the College
  • BCLS and NRP required
  • Experience with asthma and COPD patient education preferred
  • Knowledge of adult education principles an asset
  • ACLS preferred
  • Experience working with paediatrics and neonates preferred
  • Participates in the CRTO's Quality Assurance Program
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated problem assessment skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
  • Demonstrated individual leadership skills
