The role of a Civil Aviation Safety Inspector, Airworthiness involves ensuring the safety and airworthiness of aircraft.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for performing inspections and assessments to determine the airworthiness of aircraft, as well as investigating incidents and accidents.

A valid Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Licence is required for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting inspections and assessments to determine the airworthiness of aircraft
  • Investigating incidents and accidents to identify causes and recommend corrective actions
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a Canadian approved aircraft maintenance organization (AMO) or approved manufacturing organization.

Requirements
  • A secondary school diploma
  • A post-secondary diploma/degree in aircraft maintenance or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience related to aircraft maintenance and/or manufacturing
  • A valid Canadian AME Licence
  • Recent experience in a Canadian approved AMO or approved manufacturing organization
