Job Title: Early Childhood Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Assistant at Advantage Child Care Academy Inc.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Assistant will provide support to our early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This role involves assisting with daily tasks, maintaining a safe and healthy environment, and engaging children in activities that foster their growth and development.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs and activities that promote child development
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, including equipment and supplies
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafts
  • Assist with meal preparation and snack time
  • Support children with daily routines, including dressing, toileting, and eating
  • Communicate with parents and caregivers about children's progress and needs
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to team discussions
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience working with children in a childcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
