Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble patient meals according to dietary requirements and preferences
- Deliver meals to patient units and ensure timely and efficient service
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient needs are met
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Public Health Food Handler's Certificate, Mandatory
- Strong customer service background and prior work experience in institutional food service an asset
- Bilingualism in French/English an asset
What We Offer:
Working at North York General Hospital means working with a dynamic team of healthcare providers, staff, and volunteers in one of Canada's leading hospitals. This is a Part-Time Permanent Position with 4 & 8 hour shifts, all shifts including every weekend at the NYGH Finch Site located at 555 Finch Avenue West.
We offer a highly competitive total compensation package which includes pay in lieu of benefits, vacation pay and the opportunity to join the Hospital Pension Plan.
