About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computer-controlled machine tools, including automatic lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and surface grinders;
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production;
  • Maintain and repair precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges;
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments;
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances;
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports;
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools;
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in CNC machining or a related field;
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines;
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
