Pizza Cook Job Description

Okanagan Pizza is seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning and inventory control.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Excellent oral communication and client focus skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized and able to maintain accurate records.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
Working Conditions:
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language required.
