We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at The Kash Nightclub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, glassware, and flatware are washed and sanitized, and replenishing condiments and supplies as needed.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to work well under pressure. You will be responsible for operating dishwashers, packaging take-out food, portioning and wrapping foods, and stocking refrigerators and salad bars. You will also be responsible for handling and storing cleaning products, washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit, and ordering supplies and equipment.

In addition to your technical skills, you will be expected to maintain a high level of attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods and be able to lift heavy loads. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas
  • Package take-out food
  • Portion and wrap foods
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure
