Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Baba Q's Smoke & Grill Restaurant Ltd. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Operate dishwashers and sanitize dishes and other items by hand.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Assist in planning menus and ensuring food meets quality standards.
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Reliability, team player, ability to multitask, dependability, positive attitude, and flexibility.
