About the Role

The Program Lead will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our Youth Climate Corps BC program in Vernon. This role requires strong leadership, program planning, and community engagement skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in program design and management, facilitation, team leadership, and supervising a team.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Leadership, Supervision & Support: Facilitate youth leadership development, provide mentorship, guidance, and performance reviews, and support team cohesion.
  • Program Planning & Operations: Collaborate with stakeholders to design programming, coordinate logistics, prepare training materials, and oversee day-to-day program operations.
  • Community & Partnership Engagement: Develop relationships with community partners, identify opportunities for climate action projects, and represent YCCBC in public engagements.
