Job Summary

This is a critical role in working as a member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team at Titanium Transportation Group Inc. This role will complete complex financial planning and analysis requirements, offering accurate reporting and thorough analysis of key business information and drivers. The Senior Financial Analyst is a tactical reporter of the business, with a financial focus that extends to all operating areas of the business, reporting to the Manager, FP&A. The ideal candidate is a professional who thrives on using advanced tools for finance systems, visual dashboarding & data mining.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform financial forecasting and budgeting to support business planning and decision-making processes
  • Lead in the creation of financial, operational & executive dashboards using Power BI
  • Experience with SQL programming or other database query knowledge for database modelling
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite software and Windows operating systems
  • Partners with cross-functional teams in identifying cost efficiencies for the business and evaluating cost management
  • Responsible for developing financial models, costing models, scenario analysis models, etc. to analyze product profitability using facts, data and financial analysis tools
  • Compile, analyze and distribute summary information relating to KPI's & other metrics
  • Coordinate the implementation of processes that facilitate a more efficient month-end review process
  • Ensuring the accurate completion of monthly financial analysis for review by the Manager
  • Assist in the implementation and development of new systems and processes
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Senior Financial Analyst
  • University Degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a focus on finance, accounting, or economics. Equivalent education or experience may be considered
  • Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) or equivalent, or working towards the accounting designation
  • Proven ability to be self-driven, capable of adapting to change and simultaneously managing multiple tasks/ projects/ assignments
  • Ability to work with and manage confidential information and use independent judgment
  • Proven ability to work using Structured Query Language (SQL), Python, Power BI, etc.
  • Experience with application conversion and process re-engineering
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in corporate, manufacturing and/or supply chain logistics environment would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge in preparing PowerPoint presentations for senior management
  • Experience working with WMS OR TMS software
