Job Title: Family Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Physician to join our team at Red Lake Medical Associates. As a Family Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine check-ups, health screenings, and vaccinations to patients
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including infections, injuries, and mental health conditions
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to promote health and wellness
  • Provide education and counseling to patients on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
  • Completion of a family medicine residency program
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the province of Ontario
  • Board certification in family medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
