Group Executive Producer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Group Executive Producer to lead our digital productions from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of these productions, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide traffic and production management oversight to ensure smooth project execution
  • Define production scope and participate in kick-off meetings and vendor briefs to ensure clear understanding of project requirements
  • Recommend and hire contract crew and vendors, negotiating terms and conditions as needed
  • Interface with account teams and clients to ensure vision and timing alignment
  • Generate total gross production bids and oversee production fiscal management to ensure financial stability
  • Facilitate and oversee triple bid procedures per client procurement policy
  • Collaborate with project producers to ensure the group meets timelines and budget expectations
  • Direct and supervise all contracted production services and logistics, developing and maintaining vendor relationships
  • Manage talent (union) licensing, and standard production documentation, including insurance, permits, usage rights, etc.
  • Oversee production-specific terms and conditions, including rights-managed assets, and ensure contractual agreements are in place
  • Ensure production compliance and best-practice processes are adhered to
  • Develop Executive Producers through continued learning and mentorship

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of producer experience held at a major agency and/or digital agency
  • Previous Production Management and/or a combination of Project and Client Management experience
  • Knowledge of North American vendor network with a well-defined 3rd party rolodex
  • Knowledge of various creative stages, understanding of creative workflow and interactive production
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Solution-oriented
  • Effective communication skills
