Lead Debt Investments Team

As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for leading a team of highly motivated investment analysts and guiding them through their professional development. Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating strategic credit investment opportunities, making recommendations on size, length, and structure of capital advances to the Credit Committee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and recommend debt investment opportunities
  • Lead the underwriting process, including meeting with founders and their management teams
  • Develop and maintain underwriting models, ensuring their performance and accuracy
  • Monitor large loan portfolios to identify potential risks to repayment
  • Collaborate with the Director of Investments to improve underwriting capabilities and processes

Requirements

Who We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in debt investments, preferably in venture capital, venture debt, or start-up financing
  • Strong analytical skills, with expertise in interpreting complex financial accounts and business data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interview founders and articulate investment decisions
  • Commercial mindset, with the ability to find deals while protecting the business
  • Organized, flexible, and focused, with the ability to context-switch and prioritize tasks

Location

We have workspaces in Warsaw, London, and Atlanta. We can only consider applications from candidates eligible to work in Canada without requiring visa sponsorship.
