**The Opportunity:**
We are seeking an experienced Youth Justice Program Manager to join our team at Terry Fox House. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our 24/7 live-in program, which provides education and employment support, life-skills programming, and transitional planning for young men involved in the youth justice system.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the systemic barriers faced by young people and experience working with diverse populations. They will also possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively towards desired outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and delivery of programming that meets the needs and goals of individual youth
- Ensure all operational requirements are youth-centered and the program is in compliance with all funder and agency policies and procedures
- Foster a culture of belonging while supporting staff team members to grow and maintain professional skills
- Develop and implement strategies to strengthen community partnerships and referral sources for youth
- Actively lead and participate in individual and team meetings, supervisory meetings, planning sessions, case management meetings, and designated trainings
**Requirements:**
- Diploma or degree in Social Sciences, Child and Youth Care, or Social Work
- Minimum three years' experience working with youth, youth justice, or social services
- Minimum two years' experience in a supervisory role, with experience in recruitment, training, staff scheduling, performance coaching, and crisis prevention and intervention
- Demonstrated experience engaging with diverse populations and applying a culturally responsive lens to interactions
- Satisfactory vulnerable sector check (VSC)
**Salary:** $50,000 - $55,000 per annum
**Location:** Hybrid: Opportunity to balance work remotely and on-site after orientation and training period, subject to operational needs
