Job Title: Family Caregiver Assistant

This is a permanent, part-time position available at 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be physically able to perform light housekeeping and caregiving tasks, and have experience working with seniors.

Salary:

$25-$30 per hour based on experience.

Job Description:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with medication administration and provide reminders as needed.
  • Engage clients in regular exercise, such as walking or other activities that promote mobility and flexibility.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Cook simple meals and snacks as required.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, engaging clients in conversations and activities that stimulate their minds and spirits.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • CPR Certification
  • First Aid Certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform light housekeeping and caregiving tasks
  • Experience working with seniors, preferably in a caregiving role
