About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Family Caregiver to join our team at SIMIN FAMILY. As a Family Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care assistance, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming;
  • Assisting with light housekeeping and cleaning duties;
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals;
  • Accompanying clients on walks and engaging in regular exercise activities;
  • Providing companionship and social interaction to combat loneliness and isolation;
  • Administering medication as required;
  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • 1-6 months of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience;
  • A valid criminal record check;
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs (9 kg);
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A patient and empathetic approach to client care;
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
