Park Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bike Park Manager to join our team at Grouse Mountain Resort. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of our bike park activities, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our visitors.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate all bike park activities, including trail maintenance, construction, and operations.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of park visitors and staff, implementing safety protocols and procedures as needed.
- Promote the bike park and its activities through marketing efforts and community outreach.
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling, to ensure the efficient operation of the bike park.
- Develop and implement park policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with environmental and legal regulations.
- Assist with departmental human resources management, including hiring, disciplinary recommendations, and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations.
- Strong knowledge of bike park safety, operations, trail building, and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent risk management skills with an ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal park regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in recreation management, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Must hold a full and unrestricted valid BC driver's license.
- Free Seasonal Access Pass.
- Free or discounted lift tickets at many other resorts (winter/summer).
- Excellent training and professional development.
