Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 3106591 NOVA SCOTIA LIMITED. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Food Preparation and Handling: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, package take-out food, and portion and wrap foods for customers.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, as well as sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Inventory Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

As a Food Counter Attendant at 3106591 NOVA SCOTIA LIMITED, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure. You will be required to maintain a high level of energy and productivity throughout your shift.
