Account Transfer Administrator

About the Role
The Account Transfer Administrator is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all Broker to Broker account transfers, as requested by Questrade clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing ATON or Manual account transfers in and out requests, according to service level agreements, regulatory requirements and Questrade's policies
- Reviewing and distributing incoming transfers documents and other material to coordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations
- Preparing, editing and proofreading correspondences and transferring related documents
- Attending to phone, fax and email inquiries related to account transfers
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external parties
- Tracking transfer status and following up on initiated transfers
- Working collaboratively in a team and keeping team leaders informed
- Compiling and organizing reports to support operational transfer activities
- Maintaining automated filing system to add transfer data to internal databases
- Assisting in creating and maintaining transfers department procedures
- Ensuring departmental policies and procedures are complied with
- Performing other duties as required and/or assigned.
Requirements
- College or University graduate or equivalent, preferably in administration and/or finance
- 1+ years of relevant work experience, ideally in the financial services industry
- Knowledge using G-Suite, especially Google Sheets
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Positive attitude and strong client orientation
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- High level of attention to detail, curiosity to learn and understand the why and how
