Account Transfer Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transfer Operations Specialist to join our team at IA Financial Group. As a key member of our Account Transfer Department, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless transfer operations, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming and outgoing transfer documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with regulatory bodies, such as IIROC, and adhere to established procedures.
- Communicate effectively with branches, National Bank Financial, operational groups, and other financial institutions to facilitate transfer operations.
- Perform quality control, initiate, follow-up, and complete transfers, including Aton and Non-Aton transfer ins.
- Provide clear and detailed communication to advisors regarding rejected transfers.
- Review daily and weekly transfer reports to identify areas for improvement and ensure timely resolution of outstanding transfers.
- Collaborate with management to resolve transfer-related issues and implement process improvements.
- Notify advisors of transfer out requests and communicate with operational groups to ensure efficient transfer outs.
- Perform quality control on transfer documents and forward them to National Bank for transfer outs, RESPs, and RDSPs.
- Manage department mail and respond to inquiries via the department toll-free phone line.
- Administer the department email box and provide support to team members as needed.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of ISM, ATON, and CDS (optional).
- 1-2 years of experience in account transfer operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Courteous and dynamic customer approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in French and English.
- Rigorous and organized approach to work.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
