Your expertise in project execution and management will be essential in driving our business forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement department guidelines, ensuring consistency and excellence in our work.
  • Coach and grow a team of Railway Signalling Systems Engineering experts, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Set clear goals and deadlines, delegating tasks and providing support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Promote Alstom's values and lead by example, demonstrating your expertise and authority in the field.
  • Prepare and host management reviews, ensuring transparency and accountability within the team.
  • Define and govern the group's strategy, working closely with stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Develop golden rules for effective workshare, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication within the team.
  • Continuously motivate and encourage your team, recognizing and rewarding their achievements and contributions.
  • Deploy Global Systems Engineering Processes, Methods, and Tools, providing feedback and guidance to ensure their effective implementation.
  • Collect and share best practices, feeding our Reference Library and driving innovation within the department.
  • Estimate and validate activities quotations for tenders and projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Manage workload and capacity, considering subcontracting and business strategies, and reporting status and issues to the department head.
  • Commit to Project/Tender QCD related to Signalling Systems Engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree desirable.
  • English language proficiency, with full proficiency in use.
  • P. Eng Certification desirable.
  • Engineering and processes background, with experience in project execution and management.
  • Hands-on experience in Signalling Systems Engineering, with a comprehensive understanding of governance models and balanced scorecards in a technical environment.
  • Experience working in multicultural and international environments, with a strong ability to communicate and motivate teams.
