Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Little Adventure on Island Enterprise Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for creating and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background and experience working with young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
  • Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience working with young children
  • Permanent position
  • 35 to 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
