Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Avanti Software Inc. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our retail location, prioritizing the customer experience, maximizing sales and profitability, building a strong retail team, and managing merchandising and more.
Key Responsibilities- Team Development and Management: Manage recruitment, staffing, team development, training on best retail practices, and supervising the team to ensure a motivated and well-trained workforce.
- Merchandise and Sales: Merchandise products by creating impactful, value-driven presentations to drive sales, and plan and execute sales and promotional events to increase revenue.
- Operational Efficiency: Communicate with head office to coordinate and execute operational efficiency and standards, ensuring seamless store operations.
- Training and Development: Develop team members by training on product knowledge, stock processing, pricing, filling and stocking floor racks, store operations, warehousing, and company policies & procedures.
- Store Environment: Foster an excited, motivated, and well-trained team by coaching and training on store operations and visual standards, and create and maintain a fun and exciting store environment.
- Team Relations and Safety: Build positive team relations, demonstrate ethical behavior, and maintain all safety guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Store Operations: Complete the appropriate opening and closing procedures for the store, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
- 4+ years of retail management experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of the powersports, automotive, or sporting goods industries is required.
- Hands-on working knowledge of retail systems, human resources best practices, and operations.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with constant shifting priorities.
- Ability to complete assigned work and projects on time within a fast, ever-changing environment.
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are essential.
- Proficiency in computer use.
- Effective communication and writing skills are required.
This position reports to the Director of Product and Stores. This position requires team members to work varying hours, seasonal overtime, and shifts during days, evenings, and weekends. This position requires team members to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder, and to move merchandise (weighing up to 50 pounds) throughout the store. Steel toe, green patch work boots are required.
