  • Partner with other locations to maximize shipment efficiency
  • Generate purchase orders for outside carrier charges
  • Ensure optimum efficiency of all shipping operations
  • Manage drivers and loading crews for efficiency and safety
  • Use route planning software to coordinate and optimize delivery capacity
Requirements
  • Exceptional knowledge of building loads, preferably with shipping experience dealing with building materials
  • Prior Logistics Supervisory experience is ideal
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with an ERP system is an asset
  • Strong hands-on leadership and coaching
