Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

About the Role:
Flashbee Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring the efficient movement of supplies and materials between departments. Your goal will be to plan, organize, and implement logistics processes that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Compile orders and instructions received from customers
  2. Organize tasks to accomplish work efficiently
  3. Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization
  4. Track and complete work orders
  5. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
  6. Prepare and submit reports
  7. Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  8. Ensure proper functioning of equipment
  9. Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  10. Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems
  11. Communicate with ships, aircraft and other remote operations
  12. Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  13. Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations
  14. Keep track of shipments
  15. Maintain vehicle operator work records
  16. Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment
  17. Establish work schedules and procedures

Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in logistics coordination
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices
  • Computer and technology knowledge (MS Project, Internet, MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word)
  • Service experience (Trucking)
